Not stupid at all. They are 55 grain lead bullets I cast and then powder coat. The powder coat acts similar to a copper jacketed bullet and can be driven to 2500 FPS with very good accuracy. It is significantly cheaper to shoot for practice ammo then commercial bullets. Being powder coat powders comes in every color, I find the Eastwood brand, Ford blue works the best for me.
These loads work (cycle) much easier in piston operated semi autos then gas impingement firearms because I can adjust the pistons to allow more gas to operate the action. Out of my Styer AUG (1 in 9 twist) I average 1.5 moa at 100 yards. With the Sig I average closer to 3 moa as it has a 1 in 7 twist barrel. Hope all that made sense!

Very informative answer, thank you! I figured it was something along those lines. However I don't reload so I appreciate as much information as possible. One of these days I'll start, and put it do good use!

You are welcome. I encourage you to reload when you can. It is very easy to make quality ammunition with a minimal investment of equipment. Reloading gives you great independence on your ammunition supply when we go through ammo supply shortages.

I really like that one. Mine has 2 holes one on either side and wish it would slide all the way back and forth. That was a good choice in parts!

Thank you. My bro gave my this sling that came with that mount as an early Father’s Day gift. Not gonna lie. Not sure how the sling is supposed to go but I’ll
    Figure it out lol

Don't forget to stake your castle nut. I've used blue lok tite and that also works.

The offset buis are Feyachi. They were like $29 on Amazon so i thought I’d give them a spin. They are pretty decent. We will see how they hold up after being dialed in
