I am just curious to hear opinions on the TKC aftermarket scales for an Junglas. I have an Junglas with them and just got another Junglas with the stock scales. I hate to say it, but I think that I prefer the stock scales! How about you?

Not 100% sure about the Junglas, but they're dreamy on the cleaver.

I used both untouched stock scales and a set of sculpted stock scales for years then picked up a set of TKC scales a few months ago and so far I’m liking the TKC’s more than stock. If I could change anything about them I’d like them a tad thicker. Will probably make some liners at some point.

Would you say the TKC scales get a bit slimmer than stock scales? If so I think they’d fit my grip better.

Yes they are thinner than the stock scales, but in the areas that make the palm swell perfect. I wear size XXL Mechanix gloves and the TKC scales make my Junglas fit my hand perfectly, the more I’ve been using them the less I think I’d add liners.

No problem! I had wondered about them for years and it seemed nobody had a set. So between how satisfied I’ve been with all the other sets of TKC scales on my other Esee’s and the fact that they were on sale I took a chance and couldn’t have been happier.

Yeah, I popped in the forum awhile back to ask about the scales and there weren’t many responses. Not sure why they’re not more popular. Thanks again for the reply!

I always figured it was the regular price being $80ish. No problem at all!

Hey Bobby, you still have the stock black g10 scales from the Cleaver? Would you be interested in selling or trading them?
