I’m sure it’s very odd indeed. Expecting the same in Missouri at some point. Of course with our governor’s inaction, it will probably be after the crisis is over...:mad::eek:

Our major cities are closed. You can only enter them if you live in the city, work there or have an emergency medical condition that can not be addressed in another hospital. You can go outside of the city only if you have a document from your employer that proves that you are working outside of the city.

Groceries are still full of goods.

Our grocery stores have finally tapered off. National gird is activated here now though. Our governor says he’s not going to **** everything down but we will see. If that happens I can see the food disappearing again. Restaurants can still only do takeout and the rest of the stores are open at there discretion. Any place you have to be close to anyone is closed. Hair dressers, dentist offices that type of stuff.
I’m trying to find some work to keep a little bit of income coming in. We will see show it goes

If you or anyone you know still doesn’t get it, this is a good video that helps it make sense in a simple way.

In Wisconsin they just said a stay at home announcement will be issued tomorrow. They are working out all the details about which businesses must close...

Amen to that, brother. I'm worried how long the joy of cabin fever will last with some.

Sounds like the kids won’t be back at school physically until the fall.

    Official word coming Wednesday.

I thought it might be interesting for people to sound off about the things that they can't get ahold of at the stores. For us the big things have been eggs, yeast and flour. Flour and yeast most specifically, are impossible to get anywhere. Eggs we can still get some organic free range options, or if you hit up a store early in the morning you can get some.

People are starting to commonly use n95 masks and surgical gloves in public here now, picked up some milk and a prescription today and maybe 10% of the people were wearing masks and notably every mask wearer was a younger woman, 40 or younger.

One other thing I saw that was disconcerting was an older woman in her 60s walking around the store and looking haggard. She was getting around ok but was clearly run down. It could have been from anything but people were warily watching her everywhere she went and giving her the side eye when she got close. I found their reaction to her a bit scary, she could be suffering from a thousand different issues but it was already feeling somewhat tense and I could imagine a few weeks of this will make people feel even less charitable.

Wife said she saw a story that child abuse is already becoming more prevalent.

Yes two reasons my wife has not killed me is a recant knee operation and she can’t catch me with the walker and the need for a slave to cook, clean and fetch.

I wonder how many more cases will go unreported now that schools are closed as teachers and schools are one of the big reporters of potential child abuse...
