I came from a Glock 34, which I thought was easy to shoot. The Staccato P is like cheating. :)

I’m still one of those troglodytes that thinks diameter and mass matter LoL.

But I did pickup a 40-9mm conversion barrel and a couple G17 mags for options.

bought a Benelli M2 yesterday. Just waiting for it to ship to my FFL now. And I shot my first 2 gun event today. Talk about a ton of fun! Now I’m hooked and want to shoot 3 gun!

WWII 1943 Colt M1911A1. Some wear on the blueing from holster. The slide and frame numbers match (6 digit SN), barrel is original to the gun (wear matches as do the stamps). The barrel has some frosting and minor pitting, rifling is sharp. Everything else is surprisingly tight.

I did a full strip on it when I bought it. Cleaned it up really good. Patina was left alone, it’s earned that. Waxed external surfaces with renaissance wax and buffed it in to protect against time and fingerprints. I also ran a patch with RIG Grease down the barrel, kinda like cosmoline. The gentleman that carried it during the war was in the 10th Mountain Division.

Thanks! I've always been fond of the .45. This one has plenty of attitude.

"oh I'm just going to run out to the store, shouldn't be long. Might stop at the gun shop too, just to browse"... Probably the biggest lie I told myself this week.

Haha that's how I ended up with my 60s CHP surplus 870 wingmaster.

They had a wingmaster as well, but it was in poor shape and they wanted $500 for it. This little beauty was almost half that. The shotgun plus the extra barrel was $320 out the door, but I traded in my paperweight of a gen 1 Millennium Pro for $80, so I walked out for $240.

Nice, pics of my wingmaster are in this thread from January 12th, the shop had just put it out on the rack, $175 out the door, probably the first gun purchase that I might actually be able to make money on lol!
