I took it for a drive up to my home town and back last weekend (collected the 45/70) and was talking to my mate (who I took great pleasure in blasting past on a hill in his old 3.4l naturally aspired diesel HiLux, that was payback for an event years ago....I copied the single finger salute in passing) where he did the same to me when he had a Turbo Diesel Rodeo and I was in my old truck) I commented when we were drinking coffee that the new truck posed a serious health issue for me, I am worried that my left arm is going wither and waste away. See I had gotten on a freeway that exited to a small highway and for that 2 and a bit hours of driving I had not made a single downshift with my left arm.... In the old TLC I would have been doing a shuffle for almost every upward incline....LOL I loved that old truck (still do and will be exercising my visitation rights in March) but while reliable as sunrise and sunset it was NOT a racing snake on the road !!
My vehicle, in this thread, is a like a mule in a thoroughbread show Added a push bar and a sneak boat.
My '16 Limited out at Lake Van, just turned 30K--ready for some catfish action. I have had a love affair with Toyota trucks since I was a kid. I love yours @SEMO
One of our 4th Gen 4Runner. Now that it is a 3rd vehicle, it is primarily our camping/back roads rig. Having owned it since new in 2005, I appreciate her more and more with each trip.
Just moved up from my Nissan Frontier to a 2019 Nissan Titan pro-4x. Truck still aye to be a work truck but also be set up for the woods and trips cross country. So this is how it sits not, added the rack and decked system and running boards. Front winch to come with some suspension goodies and slightly bigger tires when I burn through these
Nice. Which deck is that. I've been considering one for a while. I would like something strong enough to still use my bed for loads.
the company is called Decked. This is made for my truck and they make specific ones for many other trucks. I believe the surface is rated for 2000lbs so you can still carry a pay load while still have the drawers for storage. Each drawer can handle 200lbs just a awesome setup all the way around
This is my new setup as of last fall. New truck and First travel trailer. Not used to luxury but it was really nice to be able to have my 83 year old dad come along for the Idaho deer hunt.
hummmm ARB how original...... Looks like a nice setup. Hope you had a fun trip. I just started doing small trips with the kids hoping to work my way up to longer ones.
Got new tires today. Wasn’t exactly planned, but I knew I was getting close to it. Had a screw in a tire, so instead of fixing just bit the bullet and replaced them all.
