No stock yet added and we have some final editing to do but thought I'd run it by you guys first. We're always getting a lot of questions about our knives from folks who have never used one, so we thought this might be a good way to let them see for themselves.

No other manufacturer that I know of. I hate even charging the 14.95 but we need to recoup shipping costs plus I will have to resharpen every knife that comes back, so I thought this was fair. I'm sure we will get the occasional asshole that steals the knife or claims they lost it but we believe that 99% of the time folks are good people.

I think its a pretty cool idea.
Have you taken into account the additional shipping cost for the Junglas?

This is a losing proposition as far as dollars go, simply due to office time of shipping and tracking the knives and whether they were returned, resharpening, etc. But it does give us a close to break-even point and puts an ESEE in the hands of someone who wants to try before they buy. It will probably sell a lot of other manufacturers knives after they try an ESEE :)

This is a great idea, he didn't put me out of business he is keeping from getting anymore knives stolen. Will it cover the whole Esee lineup or just select ones?

Working on adding some samples of the 3D handles and maybe a few others. Just have to have stock so waiting on Shane to actually wake up and get out of the bed and let us know what stock he has.

Letting them get a PR4 in hand before buying will definitely sell the other models! My whole scam is ruined...

If they were ESEEs then it's not a big deal. Sort of like someone stealing your lighter or ink pen.

I think this is a fantastic idea for those who are on the fence about buying but have no means of getting the knife in hand first.
Have you thought about doing something like this just for the forums? I do not feel we deserve any more than anybody else but having something just within the forum would save you on shipping, office time and sharpening.... like a perpetual pass around...Forum members whom are interested could just pass the blades on to the other members wanting to try them out...

How would this be of benefit? The only member here who doesn’t own most of the ESEE line-up is @Andy the Aussie. and he won’t share any of his Busses.

He is probably scared you would actually use one of the Busses to cut something.

    That would be sac religious.

It's a damn shame we have a top moderator on here that doesn't own any ESEE Knives, not to mention he can't even speak proper English being from Austria.

I own an izula, and possibly a 3 soon. I've handled a PR4 (loved it) and a 4hm (sadly I didn't love it) but that's it...I'd love to get a Junglas in my hands as well as a handful of others...

I didnt like the hm four at first too. After some time i grew on me. And thinning out the scales at the top.

I have always loved the look of that style knife... like a trade knife...I loved the versions that BHK put out and when I first saw the HM line I thought the 4hm was the last knife I'd ever need. I managed to pick up a Habilis Pathfinder Trade Knife before I got the 4hm. Didnt like it at all so I got rid of it. Just recently got a 4hm and it felt great in hand, except I discovered that I dont like my hand so close to the blade on a knife that size. I prefer the handle forms a guard like the PR4. With my Izula I dont mind that theres no guard, but I dont use it hard like I do my bigger blades.
