I'd be wary of the build for that one. The hilt appears to be on backwards. ;)

That's actually kinda funny. I was at the gun show two weeks ago and I'll bet I saw a half dozen or so knives with deer foot/hoof handles. Maybe it's a thing all of the sudden?

They've gotta think of something to do with all those Deer & Elk feet after hunting season, don't they? ;)

Such a great user! It actually cuts well despite the narrow main grind.

It is hardened steel, the model is "compact".

ESP is a top brand, making extremely strong batons and accessories for them in the Czech Republik.

I have a little crow bar for it that mounts on the place of the tail cap and have used it on a a stump with another such baton for 30 minutes without ill effect for the baton. They are as strong as possible.

I purchase them locally, I think ASP is more popular in the US.

That knife is so much better than the Ka Bar - thicker tang, no 90 degrees corners at the blade/tang transition , higher RCs and probably the strongest rubber handle after the Bussekin.

My first knife from the US, years ago, was a Ka Bar USMC and was a total disappointment. Very soft, chipped from a stick and got bend at the blade/tang transition with almost no effort. Extremely thick behind the edge. It could be a defective one, who knows...

I really like its style and this one will be a user for rougher stuff.
