I'm trying especially since he's a fisher and hunter. I do have one of my brothers getting one.

I’ll start by saying Just look past the author of the Bushcraft illustrated book. As a stand alone book not that great BUT it does have some good information and is organized pretty well. First impression I noticed that about 1/2 of the total page space is used. Is that necessarily BAD? NO! IMO that’s space where additional notes and other knowledge can be written down organized. If you are a visual person or like to take lots of notes this would be a great place to put knowledge to paper imo.

Of course the Mors book is a MUST just got it and loving it! That said again if you like to take a lot of notes and drawings. The Illustrated book would be a good option to go with it imo as there is not a whole lot of extra room.

Any idea if this is an actual Swiss army? I was told it's old but not sure what it'd be worth 20191026_170535.jpg 20191026_170546.jpg

Not an authentic SAK. Any real one will be labeled on the blade, plus the file, tweezers and toothpick don't match up with the real thing of any age. But the lighters are cool.

If cats stayed kittens their whole life I'd have twenty of them.

F*ck Brownells. Spent my last penny with that establishment. There's my random thought for the day.

    That sucks.

never had a bad experience with them, but haven’t bought much either. Usually use Midway USA.

I use midway more than most, but I've used brownells, Natchez and a few others as well. I just received my package today, minus the boxes of 350 rounds I picked up to sight in my new upper I purchased for my AR. Unfortunately when I opened it up, there was no ammo. Looked online at my order and saw that the ammo order had been canceled. No email, no phone call, nothing. Called them up and asked what the problem was. Lady told me she wasn't sure. Said she could go ahead and take my order again and have it shipped out. I told her, I'm leaving to go hunting tomorrow, and wanted the ammo for the trip. Had I been notified of them canceling the order, ON THE 28TH, I would have had enough time to purchase elsewhere. She said well we didn't charge you so there's nothing more I can do. No I'm sorry, no offer to cover expedited shipping, or even cover standard shipping if I did reorder with them. Absolutely piss poor customer service.
