Planting the winter garden, and took out some limbs/vines/moss and one small tree that were blocking our view of the lake (also interfered with my casting)

Today I went to Tomblin Wildlife Management Area, near Logan, WV. Located on a reclaimed strip mine. They introduced some herds of Elk. WV Natural Resources gave a tour out there for people to try and spot them. They spotted some on a hill 2 miles away, but at 10x, couldn't see much. They saw some bulls fighting close by down the hill, but with the trees I didn't see them. But still a good day.

I can’t imagine being here in the summer, the tourist are unreal. On a side note, this trail was closed due to bear activity a few days after I hiked it. Thought that was interesting

It was distracting for sure but once 100 yards down any trail they all disappeared.

We saw no bears. We were trying to see a bear at a distance only! HA!

I am building up the materials pile to hopefully have a spring garden, little here, little there. Adds up. :)
