It’s been a lot of years since I was there, but mr freeze launches you out and I think you loop, then go straight up in the air to a stop, the do the whole thing backwards.

I got my flu shot yesterday...
Fair warning for anyone who is going to be getting one..
It is a pretty wicked shot this year...
I normally have zero problems or maybe just a sore arm... Within. Few hours of this one I felt junky.. and Last night was BRUTAL...

Interview tomorrow at 10. It starts out at $12/hr but better than what I would've gotten anywhere in Branson. The janitorial position starts at $12.50, which I might go for.

A follow up.. I had a already scheduled appointment this morning with my doctor. I told him how junky I felt after the shot..
He said that this year there are a couple of extra strains then normal. Apparently there are a couple of strains making a comeback that they have already included.... SO if you get the shot every year this year.. You might have a stronger reaction because you already should have some resistance to those strains...

Yaaaaaahhhhhh for trying to be healthy...

Weird primer failure at the range today, Winchester 115g 9mm bulk pack, shooting my sig p320, Im probably approaching 1000 rounds through this gun, I have never had a single failure and shoot all factory loaded american made 9mm, fair bit of 124grain 9mm NATO (slightly higher pressure) as it shoots like my preferred carry ammo (sig 124g v crown) I'm meticulous about maintenance and cleaning, had the striker out for inspection, wipe down and oiling about 50 rounds prior to this failure. My girlfriend was shooting and loading mags when it happened so I did not handle this round before loading it (she is still new to shooting and likely wouldn't have noticed something funky with the primer if it was messed up going into the gun). Anyways, she racked the first round in, pulls the trigger and click, she said she saw no smoke come out around the chamber. She puts the gun down, I wait 5 seconds rack the round out and immediately see the primer is ruptured, but the bullet is still completely seated (not a squib) I shot the rest of the mag slowly looking at each primer after, nothing out of the ordinary. Thoughts? To me it looks like the primer is completely missing the metal piece that seals it.

IDK what the deal with that is... I’m not sure thou I would have shot the rest of the magazine with out emptying it and reloading it thou. I might have not shot the rest of the box either...

I thought about dumping the ammo, but given it didn't seem like a pressure issue and I was shooting very slow I felt okay with it (all PPE worn as always). In all honesty if I had been shooting I probably would have just tapped and racked given it was the first round thinking I had an empty chamber. Backwards primer makes perfect sense though, thanks!

....what Strig says, during manufacture the primer has been seated upside down. There is little inherent risk in this other than the round will not be able to fire. I get these from time to time in my own progressive loader and the QC checking regime of bulk packs is one of the reasons they are proportionately cheaper. I have seen maybe three or four such rounds in Win White box over the years.

I have been sanding, grinding and buffing for days now. I have been cleaning the older knives I got at the gun show last week and a few knives I’ve had laying around to fiddle with. I have concluded I would rather “ practice” on the older knives and learn what works and not for cleaning before I would try on nicer knives.
So while the “cleaned” knives might not be terribly pretty I’ll probably give most of them away so folks can have a good knife.

I am terrible at remembering to to take pictures.. ESP before photos. Two of my favorites currently is cleaning up a 1977 ( if I read correctly) Case brand folder. Simple and getting prettier :)
2ndly is the Old hickory mod I posted 2 photos below.
