[IMG] Itasca state park in Mn at the headwaters of Mississippi River. My daughter was concerned I was going to push her in. It was a serious consideration.

Thanks! She pretty awesome. Seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home. Now she turned 6 last month and starts 1st grade.

Thought about it. The water is only about two feet deep but it’s real cold right now. There was a pretty good thunderstorm the previous night and it dropped the water temp. The laugh I would have got would not have been worth the tears.

I'm debating on changing the interior color while I have everything apart from the stock smoke grey to you guessed it "BLACK"

Went out to a monthly primitve skills meeting called S.A.L.T. today at Pueblo Grande Museum. Al Cornell taught animal tracks, scat, and signs, then everyone broke off to practice cordage, stone tools, and friction fire. At the end my friend and I got some practice with a rabbit stick. Good day.
