Javaman Archery Impala longbow for the wife. It's going to be 64" 30lbs @ 25". Walnut Dymalux riser with Spalted Mango limbs and a brown leather wrap at the grip. She was upset with my recent sudden purchase and didn't give me crap about buying it but gave me crap about the fact that I have four longbows and she has one. I can't complain about her point.

A 1.75l bottle of Buffalo trace. Because running out sucks. Plus, this stuff is damn near impossible to find around me anymore. Ever since bourbon got trendy I can't hardly keep this on hand. People need to start drinking more vodka.

They have it in NEPA you just have to ask for it... they keep it in the back for some reason.

Boat Paddle kydex sheath for my Ontario Raider Bowie, from Cleveland Kydex

its a little snug......but im stripping the coating off the blade anyways so that will take care of that. Complete and utter bombproof retention. Its NOT coming out accidentally. Lots of lashing holes for adding pouches or to lash to the trekking cart. Shown next to a Chris Reeves for size comparison. Its huge. (i'll get to why i went this style in a bit)

why did i go with such a wide sheath? field expedient paddle for a pack raft ;) . Its the size of a kayak paddle blade. saves me having to haul a paddle with me. :) IMG_6648.JPG

That's actually a good idea for the sheath. But that's why I've never gotten one from them.

...yep....first people I called a few weeks ago....they went out of the seat business in November last year. Couldn't explain why the website was still up. They use to be branded Paratus and sold here by ARB.

    oh, well thats a bummer.......

still confused why a Recaro seat would cost over $2000 though????

I looked at one for my old '78 Bronco way back in the mid 2000's and it was only $500 CAD
