You're not wrong Strig, it's exactly what I would have ordered myself had I gone custom.

Field knife, and yeah, it's amazing.

One more quick pic from my hike last night.

Made up a simple kydex plate to facilitate canted gross draw with a Tek Lock.

Wore it all day at about 10-11 o'clock . Incredibly comfortable.

@Reno Lewis could make bear scat look appealing in photos. Nice work.

Hahaha, thanks DJ. You do know I'm going to be actively looking for bear scat now, just for you:p

I'd love to buy a nice compact camera to take with me into the bush, something with decent optical zoom, but my phone does a respectable enough job for now.

Threw together a simple polished antler and oil tan leather lanyard (Englishman's loop knot). I like the way it looks, and it provides a rather usable pinky lanyard for wrist flick type chopping (limbing green saplings, for example).

You wouldn't mind posting some in hand shots or size comparison shots would you? This model is calling to me....I think

It's exactly the size I wanted - compact enough that I can EDC it, but big enough that I can use it as a hiking knife, game knife, etc. I was debating between this and the smaller "Everycarry" model and I'm glad I went with the Jaeger.

I'm currently debating between those 2 as well. Do you find the finger guard getting in the way at all, since it extends so far beyond the edge?

After going with the gut feeling and avoiding this thread....Finally took a look and after 8 pages and a shirt change due to the saturation of drool ... ya I think it's time to say I "Need" one! Only set back for me would be the leather sheath...nothing against them in particular wish I liked using them more then I do but sadly just not my thing! That Jaeger is just ridiculous..in the best way! Eh
