    Picked up another Cold Steel shovel to replace one I gifted recently.
    Those things are like HiLift jacks, you'll run out of energy before you run out of uses for it.

    @Bushman5
    Please let us know what you think of these? I would love something similar to add to the kit :)

    well, if your buying from Canada, expect to pay HUGE, :confused: however if your buying form the USA, you can get em cheap. :cool:

    So far i love em. They weigh nothing, are extremely well sealed, precision threads, about a 1/2 turn to close them. Waterproof to 120 feet. Whats not to love? You can pretty much stash anything into these and they take up very little room in a pack or pocket

    a few things I have put into them so far: post #390

    Hell yeah, bushy! Glad they made it there quickly and intact.

    Picked up a Chaves Ultramar Redencion (Drop point, s35vn, black PVD, black micarta inlay). I've been eyeing them for awhile, and I love skulls, so Ramon's pocket clips have always caught my attention. Never gonna pony up the funds for a full custom (228) and I got the Ultramar for a great deal.

    Initial impressions??? Its a BADASS overbuilt folder, with awesome machining and attention to detail. I was concerned it would be too "overbuilt" and not practical for daily use (like a Medford), but the blade is actually a good thickness and has a very usable grind geometry. Aggressive jimping, solid lockup and detent, and feels great in hand. I would consider it on the same level as any of the Hinderer ZTs that I own (0560, 0562, 0566 etc.) in terms of design and durability.

    It is probably one of the coolest (looking) blades I own, and I'm very pleased with it overall. I might replace all the shiny silver hardware with black stuff, 'cause that's just how I am :p

    One more item for the casting section of the reloading room, lead furnace/pot. Made by Saeco for Lyman back in the day, Lyman 61. It needs a little love/restoration, already sourced switch/rheostat, heating element..etc. Bolts are soaking in kroil, I’ll break into it this weekend after I’m done cleaning up the lube-sizer.

    This project has been one wild ride for sure, but it's finally at the home stretch. There's still a bit left to do, but I couldn't help but share this before and after picture. It's come such a long way from the ugly duckling that it was.

    Just paid $20 to Spyderco for 4 replacement pocket clips. This is the sole thing I dislike about Spyderco. Nonsense.
