Just wondering why ESEE went away from the skull logo to the new rectangular one. I much prefer the skull logos of recent time as well as the earlier RAT ones. Just saying.........

And I much prefer kydex to the plastic sheaths.

Old School! Love my ESEE knives regardless of the logo.

The skull logo scared the millennials.

Too funny! But I don't think Jeff and Mike are afraid of the millenials. Not much anyway.

Exactly. And they've gotten some of mine over the years because their knives rock. Great clobberin' knives. Got a new LS on the way now. Gonna mod the daylights out of it.

Esee Skull Logo all the way. I honestly would not have bought the Junglas, despite the amazing performance of the blade, if it had the new logo <<<it simply does not make me giggle with joy like the skull logo knife does when using it. People freaking love skulls ......

I know Jeff wants to have a professional look for the company, but some of us like the hard core aesthetics of the skull logo. ***why not offer both logo options? ;) **

I wish Esee would offer all thier big knives, with a deep etched skull logo, and the new black oxide finish.........

as well, I think Esee could make some serious coin on skull logo etched stainless steel pint glasses, shot glasses, logo caps, tshirts, big truck decals , small decals, etc

it simply does not get better than this right here:

Skull Logo or nothing for me. I’m gonna be on the hunt for a skulled Hoonie soon before they are all gone

The skull logo. I might consider that as suitable for tat art. It's not like I have any money to be sued out of. :D

Total agreement on the skull. To me, that epitomizes my fantasy of what the Esee group is about.

I think that if Allan Quartermain and Indiana Jones were real people they would be part of the Esee core group.

And the closest I will ever come to being like my heroes is to own a knife with the old logo.

The SKULL! I buy mostly "used" ESEE knives to get it.

This has been explained a dozen times. It was due to confusion. We were getting a lot of people thinking the knives were two different brands. The round logo has always been for our training side so we simply split it off to avoid confusion. We still put the round logo on certain knives, such as class knives. As for Millenials, they're a good generation with a lot more intelligence than people give them credit for.

Honestly when it comes down to it, as long as its an esee id not care if it had a rainbow eating unicorn on it. I trust that steel and the folks behind it.

We are all free to like what we like. I like living things but on my ESEE's I like the skulls. That said, most of mine have the new logo

I highly dislike skulls of any sort. Just like I don't watch horror films or movies with much gore and will go out of my way to not posses any sort of symbols or talismans connected to anything from other cultures. :)

    Yes, I am a millennial.

You can hate me if you want, but I was happy to hear the boxy 6 sided "ESEE" logo was becoming standard on blades!

As far as the kydex sheaths, my understanding of the reasoning is the models with the "plastic" sheaths (kydex is also plastic, just a different type) were the most common in extreme temperature environments, where kydex tends to fail.
