Last night my Medellin cut open a 4wd tyre so we could get out the 2kg of meth and a ****load of cash hidden inside. End result was a few dings in the edge from metal strands in the rubber that took me 30 minutes on the worksharp to fix. Some context: Traffic stop results in us searching the car with a drug dog that indicates on a spare tyre in the back. Now visualise a circle of Defectives standing around wondering how to get into the tyre (they are gentle types who have spent too many years in the office). Out comes Medellin. Off comes the tyre tread. Voila.
........Now that is harsh... !!!! Just because The Ds have soft hands well moisturised does not mean they are altogether soft...
Just picked up a Medellin. Seems like the right size for daily carry. Not going to be in it’s natural environment if I can help it though.
I read that the Medellin will be discontinued hope not as I love mine and I've used it hard since having it .
....Bugger.... I was meaning to get a couple for my Godkids !! I shouldn't be nice to them as they will one day kill me and split my gear....
This a shame as this knife had potential, I would of liked to see a second version with Micarta scales on both sides to make it a bit thicker and I prefer micarta as a handle material , I'll defantly try and pick up another as a spare .
