Curved fuller and eyeball punches

 

My collection of forged center punches from Brent Bailey, Faram Forge, and MP Knives. The far left one is a punch I made myself, from 4140.

 

Forged from 4140 and scaled in camel bone.

 

nice work Semo. Whats the liner? almost looks like leather

Thanks. I managed to escape any deep hammer tracks in this one.

 

Havent been at home much the last two months, but I got to sneak in a little forge time today. Made myself a hammer shaped paper weight.

 

Started on this but need to wire brush and rivet in an eye.

 

Made a finial thingy. First successful one.

 

Forged these at some point, but dont remember when. Still need to finish the chisel end.

 

Forged and ground from 1”x 1” stock.
1095 and micarta.

 

Musta been fun flattening that stock eh?

 

You know it. My elbow is still paying for it.

 

haha it's fun, but not fun at the same time. I had a nice experience turning 2'' around to 1.75'' square.

 

Another one forged from that same 1084 stock. I jigged and dyed cow bone for the scales.

 

First two attempts at a spoon.

 

James Gibson makes really nice ones. Mines are pretty ragged, but I think it'll work out nice once I get a few done.
