    Jeff Reed is the man. I’m just lucky to own a few of his pieces.

    Do we have any updated opinions on the TKC scales for the PR4?? I have XL or 2xl glove sized hands and am concerned about the stock scales. Wanting to order a PR4 but if the stock scales run on the small side I will order the TKC scales st the same time... For comparison the ESEE 4 with stock Micarta scales are just a little to thin for my liking..

    :)

    If I didn’t buy the TKC scales I would not be keeping it!

    I have a good feeling about this one!

    Can you show a profile shot with the TKC scale on it?

    @mtngoat
    Snapped a couple quickly for you.

    First ones are the PR4 vs a Stock ESEE 4

    The last picture in order:
    CR2.5
    SS Izula with TKC extended scales
    Izula 2 with custom G10 scales, Standard size but in G10
    PR4 with TKC Scales
    Stock ESEE with stock Micarta scales

    @Strigidae I have xl sized hands so I tried initially with the stock scales and it felt like I was just holding a piece of flat stock steel esp in my non dominant hand. When I added the TKC scales it feels like i brings it in nicely between a 4 and a 5 with stock scales.

    @mtngoat i have not had it long enough to give you a solid go no go but. But so far I’m really liking it :)

    Can someone tell me when the PR4 Camplore logo changed to the standard ESEE logo?

    In 2018 when they made the distinction between the trading side and the knife side of the company. Don’t know the exact date.
