    Hey guys,

Just wanted to drop a quick review of my TRC Knives Splinter 120 in Bohler m390. I've used 3v and N690 in the past and I'm really impressed with the edge retention on m390. My knife had a full flat grind and I've batoned with it and it's held up really well. Sharpening it can be a bit of a chore, but I actually enjoy sharpening and stropping.

These guys are from Lithuania and the knives they've produced has outstanding fit and finish. The plunge line is perfect, the grind is on point, etc...

    Here's a video I made of it:

I've had a couple TRC knives in the past, including this one.

My old Apocalypse in Elmax with a custom OEM kydex sheath is currently being carried and used by my Bro @HelRaiser.

TRC makes some killer blades, and their customer service is great.

The blades are impeccable huh? Mine was perfectly ground and finished. The m390 steel is incredible, I think i've found my favorite steel.

I bought a K1 from them while I was in Lithuania on a work trip. Very good blades.

I have the Splinter 120, XS Splinter, and the Splinter Deluxe. My favorite by far is the Splinter Deluxe.

Here are the three of them side by side.

I think it is kind of funny you think M390 is a pain to sharpen. I think it is pretty forgiving and takes a great edge with minimal effort. Then again I only play with stainless or semi-stainless steels, so it is all relative to what you know. Definitely not as easy as 1095, but it holds an edge better.

It's my only full flat grind knife it's ground really thin, been nice slicing and dicing everything! lol

I agree with you 100% brother. I'm liking their new necker...

Yup that's me right there, I"m usually a 1095 type guy. I'm getting into stainless more now. Thanks for the photo, I really like the shorter Splinter more and more.

Thanks for putting those on my radar. As to M390, I love this steel. I have a Bradford Guardian 3 Sheepsfoot (ffg) and a Guardian 3.5 (high saber) in M390. Both are superb fixed blade EDCs.
