    Oh look at the time;

    I’m past due for lunch... better get started! Using my siege stove @Bushman5 today’s menu, loaded baked potato soup, brats (although I forgot the buns) and hot chocolate. It’s rained heavy the last 4 days so the fire took some coaching but I got it there!

    I carried 50 pounds of gear to help start getting in better shape but I would say I only used 20 pounds of it lol. I used my cook kit in my mother, my cleaning kit and fire kit from my G-2 and the tools from my sherpa belt. So my day hike and general use kit is all center line systems and works great. My hidden woodsman day ruck was supposed to just be for over nights but I put it to work today and I was glad to have the hydration bladder with me. The star of the show was the siege stove. I do like it and the grill was far more useful than I anticipated. I hope you all had a great day out there also...

    Thank you! It was a great day and a great meal. I had extra and didn’t even eat what I cooked. But eating less can be a good thing lol. I have been told I don’t share my days out enough so today I remember my phone is also a camera lol

    It works really well. With a few ice packs food can stay chilled maybe 2-3 days. It has an inflatable feature so it creates an air pocket. I use it as a dry bag for when I take none refrigerated food and then I can inflate it for a pillow. I bought it in May and it’s holding up well and works well.

    They are great and they would float should something happen. They are well made. My suggestion is whatever size you think you want go up a size. The one I have is the mini I think. They said it’s good for a six pack. The inflation feature is what really helps it insulate but you carry less if you actually use it properly. Also always squeeze all the air out, pack, then inflate.
