I’m just annoyed because it’s US customs that’s had it since Monday. I googled the location name and person after person said it’s kind of a pit that packages fall into and surface a while later.
I just have a amazingly evil and hilarious plan to mess with all the sheeple that I run into EVERY day. And customs is delaying all the fun :)

On a completely different subject I bought a life size “Frozen princesses” cardboard cutout for 2 dollars. Already well worth the 2 dollars as hiding it in dark rooms or random places has already resulted in to much fun while I’m still trying to heal up enough to get back out into nature. We are talking America’s funniest home videos type of reaction :)

Bought a new sling bag (heavy duty canvas material) and a M65 surplus jacket today for under $20!
I cannot figure out what the bag is so maybe someone will know. Size wise it could hold a 24 or 36 pack of soda. Looks like a maybe old canvas rucksack component that has been modified to make it look “cool”

No pics of the jacket still have it in the washer.

This is the jacket I found. Picture doesn’t do it justice as it’s grey and rainy outside and my house lighting sucks.. But you get the idea :) Def not as worn as it looks just the best I could do to get the photo near true color...

cedar roots suck. Esp the thin, looooong tendrils that snake out across the forest.

took a 10' drop header down a 75 deg slope , after being tripped up by a 3mm thick cedar root. Broke the fall with my face and shoulder on a log. The SORD webbing just hugs the body and literally prevented my shoulder from popping out when i slammed into the ground. Both shoulders wanted to pop free of the socket......but the webbing was tight and prevented it. My face took a thin hard cedar branch stub about 2" long under the skin, just above the bridge of my nose. . I got up from the ground/log and in doing so the stub pulled out of my face. Whew, missed the eyes. Did a systems check and then a gear check. No blades popped out , my estwing double bit stayed put. I was surprised the bear spray can did not have the top broken off. I know i tucked and rolled the second I felt that tendril trip me up, 6' down then ground then another 10+ feet before slamming into the log.

    lol. Kept bushwacking

Nah. I’m fine. No headache , pupils normal, alert, fully functional, just a little swelling above the bridge of my nose and a now clotted hole where the log stub went thru.

Best treatment for a clotted hole, or anything else that involved blood-letting, is to rub on a mixture of salt, lemon juice, and tabasco sauce.
