Made this post holder thingy, way over built for something that's never going to hold more than 10lbs. Couldn't get anything else done, so this was my quick project before work today.
Thanks fellas, it's been a while since I've worked on these coke bottle type handles. I feel like I can get it much shinier- but gonna call it quits. Its usually when I have that "just a little bit more" thought- that things get screwed up.
Do you have any wet/dry auto body sandpaper in 4000 - 8000 grits? Before sealing , dry sand with those, then seal , dry, dry sand and repeat. Dad used to do that and the finish was incredible
Thank you, message replied. =) I can get some, but what I meant was not wanting to get it too shiny. As they tend to get slippery even with dry hands. Last thing I want, is a knife that tries to slip out of your hand. I like shiny, but still functional.
