Love reading trip reports from you guys, thanks for posting it. Is that a trade water you have there? How do you like it compared to a esee 6?

Yes sir, it is a Tradewater indeed. I did a little whittling and split some kindling with it, but no extensive use as of yet. The handle is comfy and is going to work out great as a woods knife! So far, so good!

Great trip guys! How are you liking that hrlm?

I'm loving the HRLM. It was between this one and the 311 I had and this one edge out on the 311 a bit. This will be my deer skinning/gutting, joint splitting knife for this hunting season!

Posts heavy with pictures, like this one, make me mad at this place for blocking photobucket.

.... it will work well for you mate. My Busse B4 and Swampy HRLM have done more deer between them than all my other blades combined.

Good to hear it works out good as a game knife!

Orrrrr.... I SHOULD tell you that that HRLM you have will be total rubbish as a game knife and you should rid yourself of it before it frustrates and disappoints you... ;)

@91bravo I love seeing that first patina wear on a Junglas from use!!!!! Looks like you treat your's the same as me.

@MarriedTheMedic amazing pics, Alabama is much more gorgeous than I thought it was up on the north end. If you've got more of that nasty Knob Creek send it south and i'll dispose of it for y'all, I've got some experience disposing of it:D

I've almost always lit fires that way and never knew a name for it!

Glad y'all had an awesome trip and thanks for sharing!

Great photos. Looks like you all had a dry summer too, we just recently got off our water restrictions.

I feel your pain, some beautiful areas in my local state park have litter problems. It pisses me off.

Great trip report. I like the look of that Katana Boy. Compared to the Big Boy what do you think?

    Thanks.

Don't know how I missed this thread but any who great stuff as always from you guys. Your braver than I, it is still way to hot for me to do any camping and we have our first trip planned in November. I need to get out in the woods badly.
