Bought this with my sweat/blood & tears earned cash from the FREAKING AWESOME LADS AND LASSIES @ DS TACTICAL in New West BC Canada. I am a 10 year plus customer of them and they shipped it Next Day Delivery instead of the regular 3 - 5 day mail call. Now....I was expecting a basic med pouch. Something that takes 3 vertical Molle columns , and can hold an Izzy dressing, a roll of 1" duct tape, TQ, gloves, and a few dressings. All i wanted was a dedicated FAK pouch on my L.R.R.P.R. webbing. when you look at the Tac Tailor picture.....that pouch looks small. Like 6" tall x 3" wide x 2" deep... right? looks small ya? NOOOOO.....its farking MASSIVE! beer can for scale you can bloody well fit a Nalgene or GI canteen into it!
there are two voluminous mesh slots inside the pouch, with stretchy webbing to secure roll gauze etc. These mesh slots are big enough to hold a Nalgene or GI canteen. Or 3 x 6" izzys per side. Or 6 x 5.56 or 7.62 mags - PER SIDE drain grommet on bottom beefy buckle plus med cross logo. The logo colors differ depending on what color fabric you choose. The Multicam version COULD EASILY be pressed into service as a CANTEEN OR UTILITY pouch..........the med logo does not stand out like the other colors available shown here on my webbing....the Tactical Tailor Medic Pouch is LARGER than the Eberlestock pouch
ITW fastex buckle and Velcro to secure the lid. Once the lid is unbuckled and lifted there is two zippers with paracord pull tabs
I’m waiting for another photo showing that the original beer can is actually massive, with a regular 12 oz can for scale.
This pouch is big enough for the hiking FAK, plus the Bleed Kit , PLUS the water purification tabs and bottle of solution. Plus a little Nalgene bottle with foot powder. Plus a tube of bug dope Very impressed. Lads/Lassies at DS Tactical are ordering me 3 more of these. I'll be slightly modifying (removing one piece of the + logo , so they dont get confused for medic pouches. One (the 4th one) will retain the + logo as a dedicated med pouch)
