Did a review of the Medellin, let me know what you think. Thanks https://www.facebook.com/1409256929168488/posts/1810730769021100/
Since I couldn’t find @Expat on the Instagram, I figure I’ll post this here too: REH and Medellin doing what they do.
Man, I don't even have a cellphone yet! Much less instgram. I have instant grits in the pantry. My truck is 20 years old and my cookware is 4 times as old as that.
Instant grits What's wrong with you 20yr old truck, it's just getting broken in like a good pair of boots
i dunno, i just can't get into this knife........After EDC'ing the AVISPA for so long, its kind like.....why do i need the Meddlin'?
Probably the most truthful words EVER spoken on this forum. Hell, I don't even carry any knife anymore. I carry a Leatherman SideKick.
Speak for yourself, I need a Cleaver and a GB6HM and a CR2.5 with BLACK G10 handles and a Junglas 2 And a winning lottery ticket to afford them
Well, everyone needs a cleaver. I thought that went without saying. But once you have a cleaver, you don’t need another knife. Just maybe another cleaver.
I finally ordered a Medellin. Should arrive tomorrow. I still want a Cleaver but will wait until @Expat sends one for free.
Well, I'm not sure we'll have much free stuff in the future. Turns out that accountant that said we could make all our sticker losses up in volume was lying.
I'm not much of a steel snob but I sharpen everything by hand and pay attention to what the blade is made of. The AUS 8 of this knife has been one of the better steels that I've encountered. It sharpens easily, takes a very keen edge, and holds it remarkably well.
Ooooh, an INFI spoon...... Is there a draw I go into to win a chance to bid for an opportunity to buy one for 10 times its value?
.....send me cash....plain brown envelope, you mail it to the vacant house next door to me, when the coast is clear I will collect it. You spoon will arrive in due course.
I don’t trust the post, or cash. I will have a drone do a single pass over the vacant block from east to west at 0341hrs on the night of the next new moon. It will drop a small container of gemstones of the required value. The following night send up a helium baloon at the same time with a string tied to the container that niw will be holding the spoon. The drone will collect it and deliver.
I was sharpening this afternoon and noticed the significant tip wear from extensive use. But also notice no signs of tip damage. This knife doesn't sit in a drawer. I'd say it's a user.
