Although they have the luminescent numbers and hands. Lum-Tec watches are very nice.

lots of the watches are nice, but too "busy" when you look at them, know what I mean?

the one at the top of my of AESTHETIC APPEAL list is the Bertucci A-4T Trit. I like the glow triangles that point towards the numbers.

    http://www.bertucciwatches.com/Bertucci/tritium.html

the price is (for now) is within my budget. A couple long days at work would easily cover that.

    I like:

    - matte titanium cases
    - tritium
    - simple clean looking face
    - chronograph nice but not really neccasery
    - prefer automatic over battery but really not a big deal
    - straps....whole nuther hobby there...lol

A Luminox 3003 has been my daily driver for a while now with zero issues:

For certain occasions, the Omega comes out. A rock solid timepiece I'll never let go of.

But there are times when I just want something really simple, minimal and light, so I recently ordered a Citizen BM8180-03E.

Check out the prices on Amazon for the different Bertucci models, compared to their website prices.

My go to watch the last few years has been a marathon TSAR. Tritium bulletproof. It’s big and solid but not obnoxious.

The natural rubber strap is awesome or you can get it with a bracket or run NATO/Zulu straps

    Definitely worth the look

Go for the Marathon GSAR! I’ve had mine for around 10 years and it is on my wrist 24/7 (literally) and I’ve never had any issues with it. The sapphire crystal doesn’t have a scratch on it. Automatic movement, tritium. Hard to beat for the price. And best of all it’s a Canadian company!

^oooh i like that.....! thanks man for the lead.

any watch compnaies make a watch that has 24 hour numerals (1-24) instead of 1 - 12???? I just prefer the 24 hour clock system......because the trucking logbooks are 24 hour time.

If you have any LEO buddies they can get a substantial discount from Marathon. It was more than ten years ago, but I paid about half of what they are advertised for now, and I got the maple leaf version steel band (the upgrade was definitely worth it).

I work on the 24h clock as well. You may not be able to see it in the photo, but 13-24 are printed in a smaller font next to the larger 1-12.
