I'm so bummed that they shelved the FJ. It would be at the top of my list, if I was looking for a new rig right now.

Go 4Runner instead of a used FJ. The interior is far more useful on the 4Runner.

    ^ This!

The FJs had some cool features, but god did I hate the interior on them. Just not practical for me.

Yeah, I hear that. I wouldn't buy an FJ for the interior by any means, but for its 4x4 potential in terrain that would probably require more mods to an off the showroom floor 4Runner.

FJ crusiers were built on gen 3 4 runner chassis. If I could go back and do it again we’d own a used gen 3 4 runner. There isn’t much difference imo.

Yep. 2014 in the US. 2017-2018 in Japan.

You couldn’t tell by the amount of them on the roads up here. A lot of them are driven by college girls and I can garuntee they don’t see even a gravel road.

I have a black FJ. Even the roof is blacked out. I’d love to get the rest of the trim replaced with black but that’s a ridiculous waste of $1000

We did all of the logos on a buddy’s XJ. It easy and holds up surprisingly well.

That’s a slick FJ. I have wheels off of a cruiser on my Tacoma.

Saw this in the Walmart parking lot the other day. German plates. Being the most easterly point in North America a lot of European adventurers start their trips here....
