Not really. It was just a fun title for this knife's new found freedom.
This is a fun venture. Anytime it turns into a 'service' it becomes work. I have plenty of that.

However, if you have a knife that needs a face lift send me a pm.

    Great stuff @SEMO

Schrade knives have always been special to me. My great uncle worked for Schrade in Ellenville NY. I remember my dad telling stories about them. One was his memory of them dumping seconds in the Hudson River.

Wow. That is awesome. I love Schrade as that is the first real folding knife I remember getting as a child. I have read stories of the river dumps.
Do you have any heirloom knives from your uncle?

    New project on the bench.

An old Cattaraugus Barlow. Removing the broken blade and replacing the busted scales.

Hah. My childhood was a comedy of losses. We played hard and we played often. Anything disposable usually got disposed of.

Still need to replace the pivot pin as the one I used was not long enough to peen and hide.

Bought this Case copperlock a while ago with the busted green bone and missing shield.
This is my first Lockback to rebuild.
Bumped into the learning curve on this one, but happy about how it turned out.
    No, it’s not perfect.
Yes, it is in my pocket!!

This old Camillus 72 needed some TLC. Broken pen blade, and missing shield.
I stole the shield from a junk knife that I had saved for the shield.
I received a blade in the mail from a friend.

I turned out pretty fine. Now I just need to use the new blade and patina it.

I haven’t forgotten what I messaged you about :) I’ve just been scouring the local Flea markets and antique stores hunting for a couple different items but also looking to make the previously discussed project farther reaching :)
