Looks neat, I could definitely use something like that. Is there a way to secure the end of the line once the plastic is off?
this would clean up the already HIGHLY ORGANIZED load bearing woods rig i have. Instead of my gorilla tape wrapped around an old bank card, instead of a silicone bobbin spooled with 80lb braided fishing line, instead of a micro sewing kit floating around the bottom of the pouch......all would be contained in one little unit, reducing SPACE in the webbing pouch. With some other reductions and consolidations in gear, i could actually go from a 4 Molle row SAW pouch down to a 5.56 or 7.62 Ammo pouch, which would only take up 2 Molle rows. Further weight reduction. yea i'll take one. small 5COL EPDM RANGER BAND would fit that role very nicely.
To combine that with the ESEE fire kit would be amazing? You said on Facebook it will be available after shot show? ( for us without battlebox) any other color options like your other great gear?
Funny story about that. When I was in the hospital after cutting my hand off I had one nasty mean nurse. I was 10 and couldn’t take pills. It was a mental thing. Anyway, my dad bought me the giant family size bag of Cheetos. I ate them all. She cane in and said I was too old to not take pills. She was in white scrubs.... she tried, I went exorcist and she left orange and sticky... sorry to digress from the post I really like orange things lol
By adding a few more items and magnetizing the needle, you can make the ripSPOOL much more versatile than just a gear repair kit.
What about some slip on dividers where the tape is..for those who like the 1" gorilla tape? The dividers would also allow different cordage like bankline or kevlar or fine wire or florocarbon line etc
lol never even thought of that......drill two small holes opposite each other and use some small split rings to attach hooks
