You have good taste! It's the king of all multitools as far as I'm concerned. I've got lots of makes and models and have tried many of them for work but none have performed as well as the mighty ST300 for the type of work I do.

Get a rebar and swap heads.

Did you mod the plier head or scissors to make it all fit nicely?

Had to file a tiny amount off the plier head about .015"

Sooooo I think I have lost my Bucktool. Sucks. I have had that thing for over 20 years. Regardless I need to replace it. So far what I find that MAY be a good replacement would be the Leatherman Rebar. Anyone have any experience with one? Any info would be appreciated. Also any recommendations for a good replacement. If you scroll back in the thread you will find the mentioned bucktoolso you can see more or less what tools I’m after. Thanks all

Did you end up with a Rebar? It's a great MT and I think would serve you well as a very capable and yet carryable tool.

I love my rebar. It’s the prefect selection of tools and size for my needs.

Actually ended up with a Gerber MP600, an older model. I’ll see how that one works out for me. I really like the rebar and many of the other offerings. Maybe i need more than one MT?
