Def worth sharing! A hunter in New Zealand was able to guide a rescue helicopter to his location after being injured and unable to move. This hunter was down in HEAVY brush and they still spotted him! This is why I carry a signal panel and orange smoke grenade. Didn't even spot him in the second pic....yikes....
Man, I hate it for him. I've never been in that situation, but I keep a rescue strobe on my pack for this very reason.
I hope he realizes how lucky he was to go down right inside that circle. anywhere else, he could have been in real trouble.
