Never seen the ones with ferro rods etc but ive seen that style of belt. Seen never used. Got some friends that have em and they like them.
First time I saw that style was on the knife connection site. Heard decent things but never seen on in person... the extra features of the buckle are nice but at the price I dunno how nice lol
Looks kinda gimmicky, their motto of “carry less, adventure more” seems to advocate that it is supposed to replace carrying an actual knife, which it certainly can’t complete with. Additionally, having to remove your belt to use the tools is highly impractical, I’d pass on it.
I have one of the slide type belt and LOVE IT! Mine doesnt have the crazy buckle on it but is a heavy duty 2 inch leather belt. Highly recommend the style! Wouldn't pay that much for the buckle.
$150 USD/....... thats like $300 CDN...... NOPE. 5.11 belt is like $40 up here, ferro rod and cheap knife is like $60 .
I agree with RocketmanDane. The buckle seems gimmicky with all the gadgets. But I have a Trackline gun belt made by Kore Essentials. I've worn it daily for over a year. The track and buckle look identical in function to the one you posted the link to. It's hauled a 4" .357 mag on a daily basis for over a year with very few days off. It has also held up well and looks sharp IMO. Here's a link to the model I purchased: https://www.koreessentials.com/collections/gun-belts/products/x2-buckle-brown-reinforced-belt-set
Anyone have any new info on slide/ ratchet belts? I have used a couple leather ones and they have held up ok. But looking to get a better nylon belt. I have been looking at the Kore brand belts and I also see Bladetech has a version. Any thoughts?
