I'm really careful with too much blood and gore....given that YouTube is run by a liberal leaning bunch and we sell evil knives we proceed with discretion on some of this stuff...as far as a "How to Skin XXXX Animal" I'm not sure we want to raise that flag up on the radar (even though there are plenty of videos already out there).... We've had friends in the industry that have had their pages pulled due to some real BS moves....so we proceed with caution.
How about if we do some of the skinning and some improvised cooking techniques? ole P.Rollins has some cool ways of fixing critters over an open flame!
what about VIMEO or hosting videos on a private server at The Farm? NO ONE could tell what they don't like then......
we are exploring options now...may take a little to shake out but we will get something figured out...
I look forward to updates. I find it absolutely disgusting that people of poor mental and stomach fortitude have issues with basic hunting / kill/ dressing videos, and that they can shut down good tutorials with their wailing.
We will be doing this in May during the Idaho bushcraft class... To be 100% truthful We've already tried that once....but I was fairly new to the video production thing and the working machinery at Rowen gave me ROOT syndrome (Ran Out Of Talent)....We are going give it a go next time !
Basic knot and lashing skills, not life support stuff but stuff for everyday and camping. Thoughts on differnt cordage and their uses.
