If Apple stores truly don't take cash, I would be inclined to go in and have them ring up a significant purchase and then start counting out cash. When they say they don't take cash, just apologize and walk away.
The last time I went in (which was a few years ago), they didn't even have a cash register. You just talk to the apple person waiting on you and they take your card and run it. Then you get your box of goodies in a few minutes so I think you might have to alter your strategy to get back at them.
I almost always use cash. Only when I can't get cash ahead of time will I use a card. That happens less than once per quarter.
Sounds like the Netherlands. http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20160922-the-countries-where-cash-is-on-the-verge-of-extinction
Do you get double points if you go to family reunions at Waffle House to get a date? Also, I love their jalapeño hash browns.
You get double points just for having the family reunion at WH! Waffle House “Home of Scattered and Smothered, Covered and Chunked Kissing Cousins.”
Big News! Waffle House debuts food truck to cater events https://www.myajc.com/news/waffle-house-debuts-food-truck-cater-events/xo6xgJDrYEACKqF1fURv1L/
I've never seen a Waffle House in the flesh until last night in Bethlehem, PA. The parking lot was empty, whereas the Denny's down the road was packed, so I took that as a sign and kept on truckin'.
Didn't finish reading the link that DL posted above last evening until now. "The food truck can be rented nationwide, but an extra fee will be charged for locations outside of Georgia, WSYX reported." Ah, and I'll bet that fee from Georgia to here would include fuel, driver/cook time, etc. Probably be well over $50. Cool idea, though. Maybe it'll catch on in the north -- like in PA, where ^it sounds like^ their brick and mortar store is loosing out to Denny's anyway ...
There's a waffle house in the county I work in. Unfortunately though, having arrested pretty much the entire staff, it's somewhere I tend to steer clear of, for good at least. Doesn't hamper my enthusiasm for the restaurant though
