Anywhos, back to packs. My Red Rock Rover sling bag. Have used this thing many times. Not Maxpedition quality by no means, but a third the price too.

Is that bag the same size as the maxped Remora?

Can't remember if it was the Remora, or another Max made. Perhaps the Lunada?

Here's a review I did of it, when I got it. Actually, I gave the one in the review to my wife, and got another for myself. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Sling-Bag-(Photo-Heavy)?p=9681572#post9681572

EDIT: I had said in that thread it was the same as the Lunada.

Thanks. It looks like it's a little bigger then the remora. I have the remora, Noatak and a Kodiak. My Noatak works best for me as an edc bag for me. The Kodiak is too easy to overstuff and the remora doesn't hold enough.

I had a Noatak briefly. I just tried it on, and sold it. Didn't care for the way it fit me. Here it is next to my Red Rock Rover bag:

I'm on the never ending search for the perfect edc bag. It never ends, and the bank account never recovers.

Finally I'm here. Only have two packs at the moment. Super sad face. GR1 and a Gossamer daypack. Looking for a new daypack with more of a frame as I'm tired of being poked in the back by apples and ****.

As an EDC I really like the 12x5 bottle pouch the only con for me is it's a bit smaller than I'd like and the shoulder strap I have is a bit wonky. If I could get a better strap it would be much better.

I had that red rock rover and ended up rigging it for my wife and I had picked up a second for myself but awhile back I sold every pack, pouch, and what not that was empty. Otherwise I find I keep "trying them again" so the next pack or pouch will be something I have not previously tried out.

I never thought I'd spend that much on a pack but it is definitely worth it. I wish there was a better variety of more reasonably priced pouches for them
