Yep, my boy will boy 17 in June... a senior next year. I've got one summer to go. Gotta make the most of it. He's my buddy. Not sure sure what I'm gonna do without him???
Thanks man! Gray hair is just the human patina lol! So far mine has been beard focused, but I've got a feeling that'll change soon.
ROFLMAO! I don't know if you're aware, but you just one the internet for the day, maybe the week. I've got a working patina too, mostly in the beard. But a stubborn patch of about a dozen white hairs have shown up in the front of my hairline. I like to remind my wife of exactly what she's done to me every time I come my hair back.
Yeah I was trying to subtlety bring the thread back on topic lol! I derail too much. Dude we're like long lost brothers, cause I do the same to mine very often!
Hey Bill, Looks nice. Did you submerge the entire knife in vinegar? I've been curious how stabilized wood would hold up in vinegar.
Great little blades. Same sort of performance as the Opinel folders. I think I paid £10 for both of them on Amazon.
pickling vinegar has a higher % of acetic acid than normal vinegar........ boiling it and submerging your carbon steel blade into it for a long while makes for a really nice dark patina.
