They've just come out with the Crossfire. Which is basically a Sparc AR with a dial instead of buttons and you need a mount for it (so you can adjust the height of the optic by using different mounts) If I had to guess, this is why they've discontinued the Sparc II, so they can get rid of redundant designs.
What do you need it to shut down for? My CompM4S has been on for 2 years straight with the same battery.
I think ya got a little too much blue there Bushy. Wait... Are you moving? Is this your official announcement?
I like you guys for some reason. I WISH! i hate Vancouver with a passion. I'd love to move to Alaska or Yukon. Just biding my time right now. Gathering up hand tools, snowshoes, etc.
Canadian ? I was told he was Mexican ?? It must be the English to Austrian translation that is off.... he is from the "Powdery White South" right ?
what kinda snow we talking about? I do live in green leaf south central, but there is also heavy snow ....so to speak.... not that I partake or condone such activity. and I must be the whitest Mexican around...........LOL!
I know a lot of people just leave theirs on. Personally, I believe **** happens at the worst possible time. I don't wanna pull up my weapon in either a hunting or self defense scenario, just to find out my optic is down because the batteries finally crapped out.
Pretty sure Aimpoint claims something ridiculous like 8yrs on a battery. I’ll be changing mine soon but 2-3yrs shouldn’t be an issue. The irons cowitness also.
Aimpoint is in a class of their own, especially battery life. The red dot above is a vortex. Both the sparc 2, and the sparc ar, are rated at 300 to 5k hours battery life depending on the brightness setting. So at best, under a year. I'd imagine the new model is in the same range.
