    Nice thread.
I'm a Becker newb, just got my first one a couple of weeks ago, the BK7.
Love how it feels in the hand. Balance an handle ergonomics are great.
Need to give some more serious workouts though.

    Now I lust for a BK-9 :p

Don't feel bad, my BK-2 has slimmed some branches, but has yet to do any real work.

Did you bead blast that coating? No way an Ethan Becker knife will do any real work!

Got the coating stripped off my 16, tomorrow I'm going to sand it smooth and get rid of the machine marks. Anybody got any suggestions about what grit to start at? 80? Higher? Lower? Not going for mirror polish just want it smooth

A BK2 hasn't been properly broken in until it chops a tree down that is at least 4" in diameter.

Etched, sanded and blued. Now for a proper edge and sheath

No doubts about that from me, the Beckers just aren't my primary blades, which means they haven't gotten much use so far.

This sucker is band new, I'm debating whether or not to do handle mods, or leave it as is.

Looking forward to this sweet rig @Allen Morrison put together for my BK16. @Slade already finished up putting a proper edge on it. Thankful for the talent these two guys are blessed with.

I eventually want to add a BK9 to my collection. I've seen a lot of pics guys putting those through hell and they keep taking more!

I love photos of BK9s that haven't been modded but have been heavily used.

Anyone got a BK17 that they would swap for my BK16?

I bought it because of all the hype around the BK16 but I've never used it since it's so similar in blade shape/style as my Esee 4 so it's basically as new, I think I'd use the Bowie style blade more...

A work of art by @Allen Morrison Thanks again. I’m really enjoying it.
