HAHHAHAHAHAHA....we got that in Canada too! our very own SHANIA TWAIN slathers herself in the stuff....its why her legs look SOOOOO GOOOOOD!
The younger guys among you can have your fun. But as you start stacking decades your skin wants to just come apart. Chronic split fingers are a scourge, especially since I use my hands so much. But add the dry cold of winter and even defensive use of balms is not enough to keep my fingers healed. Working Hands tops my list.
i know i know i jest a lot.....but use Okeefes too. And I had a bottle of Corn Huskers lotion that was great too.
You don't have to be old, if you are an mechanic. I don't use hand cleaner unless it is really necessary, I mostly just use Palmolive and my hands still get chapped.
I have developed a really bad allergy to formaldehyde preservatives over the years... You would be amazed and scared how many house hold products and hand lotions use formaldehyde as a preservative.... SO I am very picky about my hand lotion.... I personally have found CeraVe to be a life saver for dry skin and crack hands... Or more accurately the generic version
I work in a dry grocery warehouse, from October until April finger splits and common. This is the best I've used so far, I use it under light work gloves. It can feel a little greasy but a quick rinse and a pat down it will stay on. Good to use before turning in also. Hope this helps, Mike
Cheapo generic White Petroleum Jelly. Several times daily. Cheap and effective (I went with this after reading a lot of reviews AND being dirt poor for at least another few months).
I feel like we sound like the old men who sit around McDonalds everyone morning at 5:30 detailing their ailments. So, I’ll add: my hands don’t get too bad in the winter but my heels crack to the point of bleeding. Keeps my from running and hunting as much as I want to. I orderedsome of the O’Keefes for feet and we’ll see how that works. It gets high reviews. If anyone has any other suggestions, Im open.
