Thought it may be sporty a I passed three Brown Snakes on the road into the hut but didn't see another after. A bit warmer than I hoped and on one hunt I was exhausted as I climbed way up high above the valley we stay in.

Took a doe this evening on the Colorado Plains. A few months back @anrkst6973 kindly gifted away a beautiful Case folder, asking only that it be used. I used the clip point for field dressing and the spey blade for skinning. Both exceeded my expectations. The first picture was taken early on, before it became too messy to be practical to take photos. The second is the view I was treated to while working on this doe....
