An interesting article I found on the subject. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2...t-barrel-length-muzzle-velocity-and-accuracy/
Don't have a chronograph but research tells me I will lose about 20-25 fps per inch. I have a large stockpile of MK319 ammo that is designed for short barrel rifles so loss with that ammo may be less. Don't really plan on doing anything with it past 300 yards so I am not real concerned about the ballistics loss, mostly looking for reliability and good balance. I have a Sig P716 with the same barrel but the piston system added lots of weight, was very forward heavy, and a jam-O-matic. Accuracy is real good with the 716 so I expect the same from this one.
Just snagged my first AK. Nothing special a well used WASR. Sights seem straight and the bolt is smooth. The trigger surprised me. Reminds me of my old KAHR CM9. Like a long smooth double action Definitely some mag wobble with steel mags. Very minimal play with polymer Hopefully she shoots. Hopefully the local ranges will dry out so I can test her out soon
Suppressed its the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Makes very little noise and very minimal recoil.

That is the little box, the two larger boxes are better equipped for that. This is more to take places for when guys have weapons go down.
I like it a lot, weighs more than you would think. Listed as being 6.8 lbs. Most of the weight is from the receiver and the bolt. Shoots pretty accurately. Trigger measured 4 lbs, but felt heavier. Reminded me of feeling like a standard AR trigger. Felt recoil is more than you would think, as heavy as it is. But may be more from the heavy bolt coming back.
New Primary Machine comp. for the 19. Side note. Was never a fan of how this tan looked. Got some Aluma Hyde 2 in matte black on the way. This stuff is super tough.
